Earth Day cleanup 2011

Earth Day is ambiguous. We get to see some of the best and the worst of our species. It's always been a mystery to me to see how many people cavalierly pitch trash out their car windows, not to mention pitching a whole boat! On the bright side is the pleasure of seeing so many good hearted, concerned people try to clean up the mess. There are lots of young people involved. Hopefully they are learning to care for mother earth better than my generation has.
